Unlock your dog’s natural hunting heritage in a safe, controlled environment. Ratter Rumble is an exciting, high-engagement sport designed to teach dogs how to independently search, locate, and "alert" on a hidden and secured rat.

What the Course Looks Like

Our Ratter Rumble arena is a playground for the nose! To keep your dog engaged and challenged, the search area is filled with a variety of safe, interactive obstacles, including:

• Cardboard Canyons: Stacks of boxes that create a labyrinth of scent trails.

• Agility Equipment: Tunnels to navigate and low platforms to scout.

• Tactile Terrain: A mix of surfaces that build environmental confidence as they hunt.

 

In this class, your dog will learn:

• Independent Problem Solving: We teach your dog to work away from you, building incredible self-reliance and focus.

• The "Find": Identifying the specific scent of a rat hidden securely within the obstacle course.

• Safe Indication: Biting and scratching at the tube is not allowed in Ratter Rumble so dogs must learn how to calmly alert their owner when they have found the hidden rat.

• Drive & Focus: Learning to filter out distractions and work against the clock to solve the puzzle.
  
  Our Ratter Teammates

• We prioritize the safety and well-being of our animal assistants. Our rats are beloved members of our facility family who live happy, healthy lives. They are positive-reinforcement trained and actually love their jobs! When the travel tubes come out, they hop right in because they know it means special, high-value treats are on the way.
  
  All searches are 100% humane; the rats are safely secured in sturdy, ventilated housing, ensuring a fun and harm-free experience for both species.
